As a Graphic Designer for Maritz Communication Company, Joyce learned the fast paced business of sales presentation for such diverse clients as Seven-Up, Pitney Bowes, Anheuser-Busch, Winston Salem and Case/International Harvester.
According to Joyce, "Understanding the client's needs and meeting them with speed, accuracy and good design, is the primary goal."
Working now as a full-time designer for Command Design & Graphics, Joyce has gained the confidence of her clients by providing quality digital graphics and production artwork for a variety of publication and presentation formats. She works with clients to organize their information and design the most effective communication tools.
Joyce earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Advertising Design & Commercial Art. She received continuing education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and is proficient on both the Macintosh and IBM-Compatible platforms working in Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, Quark XPress, Flash, and PowerPoint.
She gained local recognition from the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch for her award winning illustration for The United Way's 100 Neediest Cases. Her design work has appeared in national and international trade magazines and on the Internet, and her print experience includes the design and production of multiple page booklets.

Joyce is active in her church where she serves on the Board of Christian Education.
